Sunlight streamed through the open sides of The Pavilion at Sandstone Point Hotel, glinting off white drapery and deep green vines. Guests in crisp suits and dresses wandered the timber walkways, pausing beneath the coastal breeze to admire two vintage cars,a flame-detailed classic and a polished silver pickup, parked just beyond the ceremony lawn. Inside and out, the air was fresh with flowers and sea air, the space feeling both expansive and close.

Brendan and Bryce stood together at the altar, steady and a little breathless. Brendan wore a cream jacket with a black cowboy hat, while Bryce matched in black suspenders and a bow tie, his shirt bright against the Pavilion’s green-framed light. Their bridesmaids in deep green and groomsmen in beige vests formed a quiet semicircle behind them. The ceremony unfolded with genuine emotion, hands tightly held, vows spoken aloud, and guests quietly wiping away tears as the breeze moved through The Pavilion. After exchanging rings, Brendan and Bryce moved to a round wooden table to sign the register, flanked by two women and their celebrant, while friends and family gathered closer, some stepping onto the grass for a better view. There were embraces, one in particular from an older man who held one of the grooms close, and laughter as everyone spilled from The Pavilion onto the surrounding lawns.
With the formalities complete, Brendan and Bryce slipped away for portraits around Sandstone Point Hotel, sometimes side by side on the Pavilion’s wooden deck, sometimes framed by tall trees or the open sky. The vintage vehicles became part of these moments: Brendan leaning against one, Bryce sitting in the pickup with his bouquet, both grinning. Group photos brought everyone together, bridesmaids, groomsmen, family, all clustered close, bouquets raised and arms linked. Through it all, the soft grass, the clean lines of The Pavilion, and glimpses of water beyond gave a sense of calm and openness.
As dusk settled, the celebration moved into The Cellar. Guests drifted between the warm, brick-walled room and the decks outside, conversation humming over wooden tables and soft light. Brendan and Bryce entered to cheers, weaving through friends and family for handshakes and hugs. Speeches brought fresh rounds of laughter and a few more tears, stories shared beneath The Cellar’s golden evening light. Later, the couple stood together to cut the cake, pausing as everyone looked on, the room aglow.
Throughout the day, Brendan and Bryce remained close, sometimes quietly together, sometimes moving through the swirl of guests, always anchored by the people gathered for them. The Pavilion’s open air and The Cellar’s cozy warmth shaped a day that felt both easy and deeply felt.
