The results came in on Wednesday night, and we are still grinning. She Said YES has placed TOP 3 for Wedding Photographer & Videographer at the 2026 Brisbane Wedding Industry Awards.
Here is the part that means the most to us. These awards have no judging panel and no jury. Every result comes from newlywed couples voting for the suppliers who were actually there on their wedding day. A podium finish is not an opinion about our photos. It is what our couples said about the experience of working with us.
The Numbers Behind It
- 980 newlywed couples voted across the Brisbane region
- 527 businesses were nominated, and 247 made it to the finals
- Wedding Photographer & Videographer was the most contested of the creative categories, with nine businesses in the running
- This is the 8th Annual Brisbane awards, part of a program running since 2008
Shooting both photo and film on the same day is the hardest brief in the business, and it is the category where the most of us chose to compete. Finishing on the podium there is something we will carry into every wedding from here.
Thank You To Our Couples
This one belongs to you. Every vote came from a couple who trusted us with their wedding day, from Sandstone Point Hotel to Brisbane city and everywhere in between, and who then took two minutes out of married life to put our name forward. You did this. Thank you, genuinely, from a small studio that does not take a single booking for granted.
What Happens Next
A podium finish carries us straight through to the Australian Wedding Awards, held live at The Star Grand in Brisbane on 6 January 2027. That is the national stage, with the best of more than 30 wedding regions around the country in the room. We would love to do our couples proud there too.
