Holly & Paul’s City Botanic Gardens Pre-Wedding Session

Nestled right in the heart of Brisbane, the City Botanic Gardens gave Holly & Paul the perfect spot for their pre-wedding session. With leafy paths, dappled sunlight, and quiet corners, it’s the kind of place that feels both open and tucked away, inviting you to breathe out and just be in the moment together.

Both Holly & Paul are pretty shy, but you wouldn’t know it once we got started. The gardens gave us plenty of space to settle in, away from the bustle, with only the sound of birds and our laughter for company. We found our way from grassy lawns to winding paths, pausing under old trees and by the water’s edge. There was time for gentle moments, cheeky smiles, a forehead kiss, a playful dip, and a few laughs as we found a geometric sculpture that seemed almost made for a pair of sci-fi fans.

It didn’t take long to click with Holly & Paul, helped along by our shared love of board games and sci-fi movies. There’s something about finding those common threads that makes the whole experience more relaxed, and it meant we could create a gallery that really feels like them: genuine, warm, and quietly fun.

A pre-wedding session like this one is about more than just photos. It’s a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera, try things out, and let the nerves settle before the big day. By the end, Holly & Paul were moving together with ease, ready for whatever comes next.
