Casey & Daniel’s engagement session took us to a private family farm just outside Ipswich. With the big old tree as our anchor, paddocks stretching out in every direction, and a classic windmill standing watch, we had the perfect backdrop. Their white horse and loyal dog joined in, making the farm feel even more like home. The afternoon rolled into a golden sunset over the hills, giving every moment a warm, familiar glow.
Wandering between the tree and the windmill, Casey & Daniel settled easily into the rhythm of the farm. There were plenty of laughs as they walked hand in hand through the grass, shared quiet moments under the branches, and leaned into each other while the sun filtered through the leaves. The horse and dog were never far away, adding a bit of friendly chaos that made the day feel even more personal.
What stands out about Casey & Daniel is how comfortable they are together in this place. The farm isn’t just a backdrop, it’s woven into their story. Whether they were feeding the horse or watching the sun dip behind the hills, there was an easy warmth between them that came through in every frame.
Having a pre-wedding session like this isn’t just about photos. It’s a chance to slow down, get used to the camera, and spend time together in a spot that means something. By the time the wedding rolled around in Ipswich, Casey & Daniel already knew how to relax and be themselves, no matter who was watching.
With the farm session behind us, we were all ready for the next chapter, celebrating their wedding in Ipswich, surrounded by family and friends.
