Allison & Adam’s Sunrise Pre-Wedding at Woody Point Jetty

11 June 2022 · Woody Point Jetty, Woody Point

Woody Point Jetty on the Redcliffe peninsula isn’t the warmest place at 6 am in June, but that’s exactly where Allison wanted her pre-wedding photos. Wrapped up in a beautiful red dress, she braved the cold with Adam and their fluffy white dog, determined to catch the sunrise over the bay.

The session kicked off as the first light hit the water, and yes, it was absolutely freezing. But you wouldn’t know it from the way Allison & Adam smiled, laughed, and danced along the jetty. Their dog, sporting an orange bandana, was a star in his own right, happily running up and down the boards and joining in for cuddles and close-ups. The three of them made the most of the quiet, pastel-lit jetty, sharing moments that felt relaxed and just a bit playful.

Allison’s commitment to sunrise, that bold red dress, and Adam’s support said a lot about them as a couple: up for anything, a bit adventurous, and happiest when they’re together (dog included). The jetty, ocean, and wide open sky made the perfect backdrop for their easy connection.

Pre-wedding sessions like this aren’t just about the photos. They help couples get comfortable in front of the camera, try out ideas, and shake off any nerves before the big day. By the time their wedding rolls around, Allison & Adam will be old hands at it, ready for whatever the day brings.
